A keyboard icon mouseover shows the keyboard allocation as tooltip:
PiX main window:
F1 for Help.
ALT-F1 stops PiX and copies the actual color value to the clipboard. Use CTRL-V to insert the value into your graphic or design software. Press again ALT-F1 to restart PiX.
If PiX has the focus, you can use the arrow keys to move the mouse with accuracy.
ALT-F4 terminates PiX.
Color palette:
A double click (or a click onto the palette icon) will close the color palette.
Ruler:
A double click toggles between a horizontal and a vertical alignment.
Zoom window:
A double click (or a click onto the ruler icon) will close the zoom window.
Program functions
PiX stays on the Windows desktop always on top.
Always shows the current color values, the selected color and the current position of the mouse cursor in X/Y pixel coordinates.
Docking function for fast positioning.
Popup menue with color convertings for RGB, HTML, Visual Basic, TColor (Delphi), and Long values.
Converts the current color to a web-safe color.
Zoom window (magnifier) range from 1 to 7.
Color average calculation.
Color average range from 1x1 to 11x11 pixels.

Zoom (magnifier) function to exaclty grab the current color.
Zoom window with crosshair. All colors inside the small rectangle will be used to calculate the color average.
The last 6 colors grabbed by PiX. Make a double click on one of the 6 colors to copy the color value into the clipboard.
Settings and Infos
Language selection: german(deutsch) or englisch.
Manual hotkey-selection, if the default hotkey (ALT+F1) was occupied by an other program.
Adjustable magnifier zoom factor between 1 and 7.
Adjustable color average factor between 1x1 and 11x11 pixels.
Color value format: HTML, VB, TColor, Long. The selected color value format will be copied into the clipboard, and will be shown in the first display field.
To justify the ruler along the screen border, you can use the Docking function.
A version info request via internet (http://www.flazh.com) informs about a new program version. PiX transmits only the version number and nothing else!
