How to protect your published E-Mail address

There are different ways to protect an E-Mail address against Spam-Bots, which was published on a website. One efficient way is to place the E-Mail address inside a graphic image, because Spam-Bots have not the time to analyze (with OCR-Software) each picture, which they found on a normal website. I wrote 'normal' because Spam-Bots often use OCR to intrude into well known internet forums like phpBB, vBulletin, etc.
